What causes cheating husband’s to stop sleeping with wife? Sometimes they still do, but when they do not, why?

Beckymarie asked:

If a cheating husband still sleeps with you (his wife) does that mean the sex with the other woman is only sex? Is it when he stops sleeping with you, that you know he has something else for her?

Does it work that way?

    It depends on the guy.

There are guys who are big enough assholes to sleep with another women, whether it’s something serious or not, and then come and sleep with his wife.

Sometimes it works the way you asked but not always

I think they quit sleeping with their wife because they are so guilty of what they are doing.

do not try to reason why he cheats,it is enough that he cheats.

if i had to guess why, i’d say he has sex with you out of duty, and with her out of desire.

sexually transmitted disease.. and the fear of spreading it..
Needs being met by other woman..who is trying to lure him away.
sex is just sex with the other woman.. most men don’t leave …they want their cake and eat it too as do most married women.
When monies disappear in great quantity and he starts hiding assets, selling off stuff for cash… getting a separate accounts .. hiding stuff in apartments .. starts asking more of what would you want to do in his absence…then he’s preparing to leave and he’s trying to make the transition as smooth as possible.

I would not allow a cheating husband to sleep with me. He made his choice. I wouldn’t give a rat’s a$$ what his reasoning for cheating is. And why would you care if he has feelings for her or it’s just sex? Either way, he’s not being faithful to you.
